The Krys (Surname) Mystery

This video made me love Solomon Trimble and Krys Ivory/Smokey-Desperado/Hyatt/Rupard/Kuzma (whatever his last name really is) even more. Wait a minute. What is his last name? Hmm..will we ever find out? Maybe, maybe not.

The “Underwolves”

“There is no such thing as a small part-only small actors.” With that being said, I want to put the spotlight on Solomon Trimble (who played Sam Uley) and Krys Ivory (who played Embry Call) in Twilight. I always thought that Krys was adorable, but after reading his interview-Solomon is quite charming. I absolutely adore them now.

What are your thoughts on the other Twilight actors you worked with? Who was your favorite to work with? Did you bond with anyone in particular on the set?
My friend Krys Smokey-Desperado!  Krys is playing Embry Call.  I would actually define our bond as more than a friendship, it’s more like the awesome term ‘Bromance’ (Bro + romance.)  We worked so well together that we had to be hushed when we were off camera because we were laughing.  Even though we had signed these behavioral contracts, we made it a goal to make every female crew member blush.  I’m saying way too much, but whatever.  I got a fever due to the combination of the cold and my wardrobe, so Krys and I sought refuge in his van.  We ended up playing my guitar for a few hours while his grandma nursed me back to health.  Later, to keep warm, we kept having head banging competitions at random scaring anyone who was near by; all it took was one of us whispering “Rock” and the head banging commenced.  All my lines were serious and Krys kept being a punk by trying to hold my hand, while on camera!  We went from yelling “No! I am the Alpha Wolf!” to lisping “You’re such a Beta” while we hand combed each other’s hair.  We also kept trying to touch Taylor’s wig telling him “You’re so pretty!”  Oh, and all day Krys was laughing because I was trying to convince him that Taylor is a world class martial artist.  Every time I said, “No dude, Taylor is seriously a ninja!” Krys would wheeze with laughter.  Finally Taylor showed off a one leg back flip right in front of Krys, and Krys wasn’t even looking!  For some reason I found it really funny and had to calm down in the food tent.  It took me an hour because I also found it funny that no one in the food tent knew why I was laughing, everytime I tried to explain myself all that came out was, “Krys… Ha ha… and the ninja flip.. Ha ha… And his face… Ha ha… and what was up with the peanut butter breath?.. Ha ha!”  You had to be there. I’m laughing as I write this … It got out of hand when Krys and I took turns trying to distract Kristen Stewart, she is a pro. I doubt she even noticed.  The height of it was when I tried to toss one of my Redvines in the hood of her jacket and missed.  Everybody in Twilight is dazzling.

Update: Twilight on ET

I’m sitting there waiting for Entertainment Tonight to air another story about the stars of Twilight. I’m watching the whole show only to be disappointed. Turns out, there was no story about the Twilight stars before they were famous. Sorry! I could’ve sworn they said that there would be a story about the Twilight stars before they became famous. I looked it up. Gosh darn it! Anyway, I went on the ET site again and I didn’t find any new stories about Twilight, but I did see a teeny tiny something about the oh-so-gorgeous, Robert Pattinson. Maybe he’s not the main topic of the story, but he was to me!

Got Vocals?

Edward’s Piano Concert

Those of you who have the three-disk Twilight movie already know that this is a feature from the third disk. I myself, don’t own it and I was curious to see what was on it.

Kellan Lutz on Robert Pattinson’s Modeling Photos

Here’s a video of Kellan Lutz on Robert Pattinson’s modeling photos from a magazine back in 2003. The quality isn’t the best, but I still love it nonetheless. Kellan is just so handsome and funny. I love that =)

Twilight on ET (Entertainment Tonight)

As you know, they have featured stories about the stars of Twilight. Well, there is another story airing tonight about them before they became famous. I’ll be watching it at 7pm on CBS channel 2, since I’m here in Southern California. For those of you who have missed the past episodes, I took my time and went through the pages to copy all of the links that were Twilight related (starting from the most recent) for the month of April. Don’t get mad at me if some of them seem to be the same videos. If you love Twilight as much as I do, it wouldn’t matter, right?

Pretty obvious that Taylor Lautner (aka Jacob Black) is missing from the picture. I thought that they should have included Quil Ateara (said to be played by Tyson Houseman) even though he isn’t considered a part of the pack yet.

Significance of life

Lately, I’ve been under a lot of stress. I don’t have anyone to blame, but me. I put myself in the position of “peacemaker” and I didn’t take time out to think about what would come of it. No one is perfect and we all know that. Along with that, no family is. We all have our moments. I mean let’s face it-life would be kind of boring if we never had something to argue about, right? Some family get along better than others, but like I said-none of us are perfect. My point is, family is all you have at the end of the day. Everyone’s definition of family is different. It can be biological, adopted/foster, friends, pets..whatever yours may be.

I’ve been through a lot in life and I have learned from most of my mistakes, if not all. As a person, I’ve changed for the better. I am becoming a stronger person everyday. One good thing that came out of my past experiences was that  I don’t dwell over the petty things in life. I have taught myself not to make a big deal of it because it only leads to unnecessary stress. I’ve also learned to open my eyes and really see things for what they are-to separate the people I need or want in life and distance myself from those I can do without.

On that note, I’ve been putting my family first-the way it should be. People have mistaken my kindness for weakness. They took advantage of my generosity. I have been told plenty of times that I was “too nice”, but I never thought anything of it. I had to learn the hard way. It was well worth it. The way I see it is that people can say whatever they want about me whether I know them or not. If I just focus on the important things in life and try to do as much good as possible-I’ll be fine. You see, the opinions of strangers shouldn’t matter. If my life would be taken tomorrow, it wouldn’t be of any significance to them.. However, it would be to my loved ones. I do what I can to be a loyal and devoted family member and friend. I want to be remembered for all the good I did. Those who know me and have looked down on me will realize that I have played a bigger role than they failed to realize. I may not be the most accomplished person in the world, but I made an effort to show that I care. I wanted to make sure that I remain a humble person and appreciate what I have because it can all be taken away at the drop of a dime. Most importantly, I worked on being selfless and having a good heart.

Being a good person is more important to me than being a giving person. Since I may not have much to give, I choose to do my best to be a good person and give all I possibly can. I cherish my life-the life that God and my parents have given to me. I love my family and friends with all of my heart and I make sure they know that as often as I am able to express it. I give my all in keeping my family together despite them trying to shoot me down at times. Fall apart over childish quarrels just isn’t worth it to me. It truly isn’t. As much as I want to give up playing the peacemaker sometimes, I can’t.

“What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger”

Open your eyes and realize what’s truly important-that’s all I ask.
